Job summary

Rohrer Bus in Duncannon, PA is seeking a School Van Driver to safely transport students to and from school, maintaining professional conduct and following all laws and district policies.

You will perform pre/post trip inspections, assist students boarding, manage schedules, and use fleet tech like Samsara and Dayforce. A valid license with 3 years driving history, clean background, and ability to pass medical and drug screening are required. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of satisfactory driving history.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Able to pass initial medical exam and routine drug/alcohol screening.
• Experience with fleet technology is a plus (Samsara GPS, Dayforce scheduling).

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely and courteously to and from school per policies.
• Follow routes and schedules and ensure safety checks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Assist students in boarding and alighting, including mobility devices.
• Report incidents promptly to dispatch.
• Attend safety meetings and drills.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization.
