Job summary

Rohrer Bus in Duncannon, PA is seeking a School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school. You will follow routes, perform safety checks, and maintain a clean, orderly vehicle while upholding district policies.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading students, assisting with mobility devices, reporting issues promptly, and completing required safety training. A valid license, clean driving history, and background check are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of satisfactory driving history.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to pass medical examinations and drug/alcohol screening.
• Experience with fleet tech like Samsara and Dayforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely and courteously following laws and policies.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for pickups and drop-offs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
• Maintain a safe, orderly environment inside the bus.
• Assist students boarding and exiting, including mobility devices.
• Report delays, defects, or incidents to dispatch.
• Attend safety trainings and conduct drills as required.
