Qualifications

• Meet general employment qualifications and state standards.
• Meet company, state and school district driving record checks.
• Meet DOT and physical exam requirements for drivers.
• Pass drug and alcohol screening as required.
• Hold appropriate chauffeur vehicle licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
• Route stops efficiently based on requests or charter orders.
• Conduct emergency evacuation drills as required.
• Instruct riders on safety procedures and protocols.
• Drive defensively under various traffic and weather conditions.
• Prioritize passenger safety in all driving activities.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, staff and management.
• Attend training sessions, in-service and workshops.
