Job summary

Qualifications

• Background checks (State BCII) and FBI checks required.
• Enroll in Ohio Rapback system through the Department of Education.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License required.
• Van Driver Certification will be provided by the district.
• Negative pre-employment drug screen required; random testing thereafter.
• Complete Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Reporting and Training.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport authorized students to and from school in accordance with Ohio Revised Code and district policies.
• Report unruly students to Building Administrator using the district Conduct Report Form.
• Report accidents and complete required forms per Board of Education Policy and Administrative Guidelines.
• Promptly report delays and mechanical failures to Transportation Supervisor.
• Maintain daily pre-trip sheet documenting safety and bus condition.
• Meet or exceed physical qualifications per applicable regulations.
• Participate in the district's training and compliance programs.
