Job summary

We Transport is hiring a Part Time School Van Driver in Bridgeport, CT. You will safely transport students to and from school and events, assist with boarding, and ensure a clean, well-maintained vehicle for daily routes.

The role requires a School Pupil Transport License (V Endorsement) or willingness to obtain it, a safe driving history, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. This position offers a part-time schedule with AM/PM shifts and opportunities for extra hours.

Qualifications

• Safe driving record and a clean driving history.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to pass background check, drug screening, and medical/7D physical as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• Assist students as they enter/exit the vehicle and use safety equipment if needed.
• Drive assigned routes and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
