Job summary

We Transport in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Part-Time School Bus Driver. The role requires driving local routes, performing safety inspections, and maintaining a clean vehicle.

Paid training is provided, and the position offers consistent hours with the potential for additional shifts on charters and activities. Requirements include a CDL Class B with P & S endorsements or willingness to obtain, DOT medical card, clean driving record, and ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements; willingness to obtain — we train.
• Valid DOT medical card—or able to obtain one.
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check & drug screening.
• Effective communication in English (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• Drive assigned local routes.
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff.
