Job summary

Point Quest is hiring School Van Drivers to safely transport students in Elk Grove, Roseville, Sacramento, and surrounding areas. The role operates Monday–Friday with a school-based schedule and duties including vehicle safety checks and student supervision.

You will ensure student safety, loading/unloading procedures, and timely routes while supporting diverse learning needs. A stable, meaningful position in a school environment awaits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience working with students in school or treatment settings.
• CPR or First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate school vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Monitor and supervise students during transportation to ensure a safe environment.
• Follow proper procedures for loading, unloading, and securing students, including wheelchair securement when needed.
• Complete daily logs including attendance, behavior reports, and fuel tracking.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Transport students to and from school, appointments, and school-related activities.
• Run program-related errands such as package deliveries or additional route needs.
• Utilize GPS or maps to ensure efficient and timely routes.
