Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a School Van Driver to transport students between the Central Valley campus and surrounding areas. The role includes supervising students, maintaining vehicle operations, and assisting with errands to support a safe, positive transportation experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check, TB clearance, 5-panel drug screening, and DOT Physical required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read maps or use GPS for navigation.

Responsibilities

• Operate school vehicles safely and follow driving laws and safety protocols.
• Supervise students during transportation to ensure safety and security.
• Complete daily logs (van attendance, behavior, 1:1 logs, fuel purchases).
• Follow safety procedures for loading/unloading and securing wheelchairs or scooters.
• Run program errands and transport students to events or appointments.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.

You’ll ensure students’ safety, maintain vehicle operations, and assist with errands and special transport needs.
