Dean Transportation is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to provide direction and oversight at our Linden operation center, ensuring safe and reliable transportation for students and other passengers. Driving a school bus may be required, as needed, and coordination with district partners is essential.

The role demands prior supervisory experience, a high school diploma, and knowledge of transportation operations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess prior supervisory or management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in the school bus industry or transportation field preferred.
• Ability to meet driving record and criminal history checks per state and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, support, and oversight to staff and drivers at the operation center.
• Establish safe and efficient transportation routes for students and passengers.
• Supervise employees; provide leadership, counseling, and discipline as appropriate.
• Review passenger behavior concerns and respond accordingly.
• Interview, select, and process applicants through established procedures.
• Prepare accurate billing information for field trips and logs.
