Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, evaluate, and support transportation personnel.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily bus routes, field trips, and transportation services.
• Maintain route maps, schedules, transportation records, and required reports.
• Provide driver training and ensure drivers meet state and District requirements.
• Oversee fleet operations, preventative maintenance, repairs, and department inventory.
• Respond to transportation incidents, accidents, complaints, emergencies, and route concerns.
• Monitor department budgets and expenditures.
• Communicate transportation updates, delays, concerns, and service changes with staff, administration, and families.
• Ensure compliance with District policies and applicable transportation laws and regulations.
• Drives a bus route or District vehicle as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Transportation Supervisor

Purpose

The Transportation Supervisor oversees the district’s transportation program to ensure students are transported safely and efficiently. Minimum Qualifications
