Job summary

Auxilio is seeking a Transportation Manager in Toledo, OH to supervise daily school bus operations and deliver safe, reliable transportation under district guidelines.

You will lead drivers and staff, ensure compliance with laws, manage budgets, recruit and train personnel, and maintain relationships with school districts. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Experience with pupil transport and routing software are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.
• Four (4) years of related pupil transportation experience.
• Two (2) year supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Driver License required.
• Class B CDL License with S and P endorsements required.
• Subject to Background Check and Drug Screen.
• Subject to DOT Physical and Motor Vehicle Review.
• Knowledge of school system policies and procedures.
• Hands-on management style with ability to motivate others.
• Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting requirements.
• Initiative and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and maintain confidential records.
• Reliable and trustworthy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation employees on a day-to-day basis to ensure contracted services.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain driver documentation and schedule field trips as needed.
• Coordinate dispatching and route/pattern evaluations for efficiency.
• Recruit, hire and train location staff; manage payroll and attendance.
• Monitor on-time performance, outages, and customer feedback; prepare reports.
• Represent the company in the community and with school districts.
• Maintain 100% compliance of personnel files and records.
