Job summary

Auxilio is seeking a Transportation Manager to supervise daily school bus operations, ensuring safe, efficient service under district guidelines. You will lead drivers, coordinate dispatch, and ensure compliance with policies, laws, and safety standards.

You will recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff, monitor metrics, and manage payroll and attendance while maintaining strong relationships with school districts and the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate Degree is preferred.
• Four years of related pupil transportation experience.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs Transportation employees on a day to day basis to ensure services are performed as contracted.
• Ensure company policies/procedures compliance including local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Enforce company safety policies and procedures and model Auxilio’s safety commitment.
• Coordinate field trips by assigning personnel and vehicles and ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Manage payroll processes, attendance tracking, overtime compliance, and vacation requests.
• Maintain relationships with school districts and community and manage budgets.
