Job summary

BROKEN ARROW PUBLIC SCHOOLS is seeking a Transportation Specialist to oversee bus operations at the Central Terminal. You will supervise routes, support drivers, and ensure the safe transport of students to school.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 4 years driving a school bus preferred; 3–5 years in a management or training role.
• Skills: Advanced knowledge of student transportation, routing software, GPS, telematics, vehicle maintenance, GIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with bus management issues and transportation operations.
• Manage route evaluations and driver training.
• Recruit applicants and distribute hiring information to build a candidate pool.
• Create analytical reports and maintain a recruiting plan.
• Enforce district policies and department procedures.
