Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Georgia CDL Class B with P & S endorsements and a Georgia Driver’s License.
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint and background clearance required.
• State Department of Education medical examination required.

Responsibilities

• Develop routes, schedules, and driver training in collaboration with staff.
• Compile data (incidents, inspections, mileage, student counts) for reports.
• Inform school personnel and parents about rules and policies.
• Maintain records (mileage logs, service schedules, DMV requirements).
• Attend meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
• Process service orders and route changes to update records.
• Suggest policies to improve student transportation services.
• Communicate with students, parents, and staff about stops and policies.
• Respond to injuries and accidents following policies, ensuring good service.
• Perform related duties to support efficient operations.
