Job summary

Summit School Services seeks a proactive Dispatch Coordinator to schedule drivers, coordinate routes, and manage on-time service across our bus fleet. You will oversee daily assignments and ensure smooth operations from dawn to finish.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and familiarity with routing software; bilingual abilities are a plus. We offer medical, dental, vision, life insurance, holidays, PTO, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with dispatching and routing.
• Ability to read maps and organize schedules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and monitors daily assignments; schedules drivers, bus assistants, and assigns vehicles.
• Ensures on-time execution of routes, field trips, and charters.
• Communicates route details to drivers for proper execution.
• Assists drivers with routing directions and special services.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates repairs and replacements.
• Maintains route documentation and records for compliance.
