Job summary

BROCKTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS' North Middle School is seeking an Instructional Technology Coordinator to support staff with classroom tech integration, manage equipment, and ensure reliable access to Infinite Campus and related software.

The role focuses on on-site support, minor repairs, and inventory management, with after-school hours and collaboration with the Technology Services Department.

Qualifications

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Familiarity with instructional technology equipment.
• Familiarity with Infinite Campus and other districtwide software.
• Ability to perform minor repair and maintenance.
• Organized individual willing to address concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

• Guide and assist staff as the in-house resource for technical concerns.
• Ensure instructional technology equipment and supplies are in working condition and available to teachers; provide on-site support for successful integration of technology resources.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment and communicate with the Technology Services Department when unable to repair items.
• Maintain the equipment inventory and submit updated and accurate inventory three times per year to the Technology Services Department.
• Three (3) one-hour after school meetings.
• Maintain laptop and tablet carts as needed.
• Serve as the building point person for submitting audio visual repairs and technology work orders.
• Be responsible for requesting and maintaining the necessary instructional supplies and equipment to support technology in the building.
• Assist and communicate with Infinite Campus especially the attendance, gradebook, and discipline modules, and other district wide software.
• Support parents and students using the Student and Parent Portal of Infinite Campus.
