Job summary

Brooklyn Scholars Charter School in Brooklyn, NY seeks a part-time Technology Support Specialist to maintain, deploy, and repair school-based technology for 13 hours per week. This role supports Chromebooks and classroom devices vital for virtual learning.

You will collaborate with the school’s leadership team and technology teacher to provide professional development for new technology, ensure reliable access for students, staff, and families, and help sustain a tech-friendly learning

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; preferred Associate or bachelor’s degree in education, technology, or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

Responsibilities

• Manage, deploy, and repair school-based technology.
• Provide technical support for hardware repairs (e.g., Chromebooks and other devices).
• Collaborate with leadership and technology staff to deliver professional development on new technology.
