BookLoop seeks a School Support Coordinator in Omaha, NE to assist teachers and manage the school support cycle. The role is non-exempt, 15–20 hours per week, with morning hours roughly 8:30am to noon, Monday through Friday, reporting to the Director of Programs.
Responsibilities include data management, inventory control, school visits, and collaboration with school staff to provide BookLoop books and improve literacy outcomes.

Schedule: Mornings; approximately 830am to noon, Monday through Friday
Summary: The School Support Coordinator supports the BookLoop mission of ensuring students have a book to read at home every single night. The School Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting BookLoop teachers by managing the school support cycle and maintaining program data. The goal is to expose students to reading, give them the opportunity to have a great book to read every day, and improve literacy outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. The position requires reliable transportation for daily transportation to and from program locations; mileage is reimbursed at the IRS rate. This position also requires occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
This position reports directly to the Director of Programs.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
High School degree or equivalent
One or more years of customer engagement, classroom support, or similar experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Experience in assisting with technology applications and hardware
Ability to develop short-term plans and manage multiple priorities
Strong work ethic with a high degree of energy
This position follows the OPS elementary student calendar and is a renewable 10-month position. Start date is August 3, 2026, end date is May 31, 2027, with return on August 1, 2027. The non-working days of this position mirror the non-student attendance days of OPS.
