Job summary

The role includes supervising students, aiding social development, and supporting instructional activities as directed by teachers and job coaches.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate required.
• Formal courses in child development preferred.
• Patience and ability to work with students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during the school day and at off-site locations.
• Assist with social behavior, self-care, and basic needs.
• Support instruction in small groups as directed by the teacher.
• Observe and manage student behavior per procedures.
• Collect data on student performance and progress.
