Amergis in Huntsville, TX is seeking a School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting. You will work on clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment activities within the plan of care.

Requirements include an SLPA associate degree or a bachelor’s in SLP/communication disorders, current SLPA licensure, 100 hours of supervised fieldwork, and the ability to meet health and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or a bachelor’s in SLP/communication disorders.
• Current certification or licensure as an SLPA in the state of practice.
• Minimum 100 hours of supervised field work or clinical experience.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of prior SLPA experience preferred.
