Amergis is seeking a School Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support a Speech Language Pathologist in school-based services in Porterville, CA. The role involves clinical and educational tasks within a defined plan of care and documentation duties.

The ideal candidate holds an SLPA associate or a relevant bachelor’s degree, has completed required fieldwork hours, and maintains active licensure. This is a contract position with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or have a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program.
• Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent.
• Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the state of practice.
• 1 year of prior professional SLPA experience preferred.
