Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a travel assignment in a school setting in Eugene, Oregon. The SLPA will assist the Speech Language Pathologist with services, documentation and treatment plans.

You will work under the plan of care, engaging in clinical and educational activities while meeting licensure requirements and district policies. A current SLPA license and fieldwork hours are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or have a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program.
• Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work or equivalent.
• Current certification or licensure as an SLPA in the State of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services.
• Engage in clinical, educational, documentation and treatment activities within the plan of care.
• Adhere to all relevant professional standards of practice.
