Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based contract in Grass Valley, CA. The SLPA will support the Speech Language Pathologist in delivering services, handling documentation, and participating in treatment activities within the approved plan of care.

The ideal candidate holds an SLPA associate degree (or a bachelor’s in SLP/communication disorders), has completed 100 hours of supervised field work, and holds current SLPA licensure in the state.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or have a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program.
• Minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or clinical experience equivalent as required by state/contract.
• Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the state of practice.
• One year of prior professional SLPA experience preferred.
