Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to support PreK and Kindergarten students in Mount Prospect, IL. This part-time contract role offers a stable schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early communication skills.

You will provide direct therapy, complete evaluations, and help develop individualized treatment plans while collaborating with teachers, families, and the school team to foster student growth.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current IL SLP licensure.
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to collaborate with educators and families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to PreK and Kindergarten students.
  • Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate student records.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to maximise student growth.
  • Participate in team meetings and IEP reviews as needed.

Job description

Make a meaningful impact as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist supporting PreK and Kindergarten students in a part-time contract role. You'll provide tailored interventions and therapy in a school setting near Mount Prospect, IL, helping young learners build crucial communication skills that form the foundation of their educational journey.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current and valid licensure as an SLP in Illinois
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work collaboratively with educators and families
Core Responsibilities:

This role offers a consistent, family-friendly schedule: work 2 to 2.5 days each week from 8:30am to 3:30pm, balancing your career with personal commitments. Compensation for this position ranges from $36.40 to $66.40.
