ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to students aged 5–21 with diverse needs in a school setting in Metamora, Illinois. You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to meet IEP goals, collaborating with educators and families.

The contract spans ASAP through June 28, 2027, with standard school hours 8:00 AM–4:00 PM during the year and summer sessions 7:45 AM–2:15 PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) and ASHA CCC-SLP (preferred).
  • Experience in school settings with special needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver therapy services to meet students' IEP goals.
  • Observe, assess, and monitor progress, maintaining detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families.
  • Support students within inclusive and specialized classroom settings.
  • Adapt therapy approaches for a variety of learning needs and styles.

Job description

Step into a meaningful role supporting students with diverse needs across the upcoming academic year and summer months. You'll provide speech and language services to a special needs population, ranging in age from 5 to 21, in a dynamic school setting. Your expertise will make a lasting impact for students with diagnoses including autism, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, and related conditions.

This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 28, 2027, with regular school hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM during the academic year and 7:45 AM to 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday, for summer/JUNE sessions. Collaborate with educators and families to help every student achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, especially with special needs populations
  • Comfort with evaluations, assessments, observations, and report writing
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to serving students with autism, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, and other health impairments
