Job summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting at Amergis Healthcare Staffing is responsible for performing student evaluations and providing therapy services in accordance with each student’s plan of care and physician orders.

Contract - Full Time position in Dover, DE offers pay at $60 per hour with a 37.50-hour work week. Active DE SLP licensure is required; CCC-SLP is preferred or may be required. Compliance with health, CPR, TB screening, and all applicable regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in DE required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
