Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based contract assignment in Somersworth, NH. The role involves evaluating students and providing and documenting therapy services according to each plan of care and physician orders.

The ideal candidate holds an active SLP license in the assignment state, CCC-SLP is preferred or required by contract, and must meet professional standards. CPR and health documentation are required, with eligibility for benefits through Amergis.

Qualifications

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
