Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for a part-time, contract position in Liberty, MO. The role involves evaluating students and delivering therapy services under an individualized plan of care, with duties aligned to physician orders and district guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds active state SLP licensure; CCC-SLP is preferred and may be required by contract. CPR and health documentation should be current as per regulation.

Qualifications

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
