Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based contract in Bedford, Ohio. This full-time, hourly role offers $65 per hour and a 36-hour work week.

You will perform student evaluations and provide and document therapy services according to each student's plan of care and the physician's orders. Compliance with licensure and professional standards is required.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• CPR current if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
