Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for work in the school setting. The role involves evaluating students and delivering and documenting therapy services per the care plan and physician orders.

The position is contract-based with full-time hours (37.50 per week) at a pay rate of $52 per hour, located in Yorktown, VA. Licensure and CCC-SLP are referenced as requirements or preferences depending on state/contract.

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment is required
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred or may be required by state/contract
• CPR certification
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
