Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based role in Santa Maria, CA. This full-time position serves K-8, 40 hours per week, starting August 31, 2026, for the 2026-2027 school year, with 3 openings and a 402-day contract.

Responsibilities include evaluations, individualized treatment plans, direct therapy aligned to IEP goals, documentation, and collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification, if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.
• Current health certificate, if required.
