Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team supporting elementary-aged students in Salinas, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who enjoy working directly with students, collaborating with educational teams, and making a meaningful impact on communication development and academic success.
The district is currently considering in-person candidates only.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and professional standards of practice.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract.
- Current CPR certification, if applicable.
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.
- Current health certificate, if required.
- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Adherence to all relevant professional standards of practice.
