Job summary

Amergis is seeking three Speech-Language Pathologists to provide school-based services for elementary students. The role involves evaluations, creating treatment plans, and direct therapy, with collaboration across teachers and families.

Openings total three, with a 37.5-hour workweek and a 36-week assignment length. In-person services are highly preferred, with hybrid options available when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of assignment.
  • CCC-SLP preferred and may be required based on state regulations or contract requirements.
  • Compliance with all applicable professional standards of practice.
  • Current CPR certification, if required.
  • TB screening, PPD, or chest X-ray, if required.
  • Current health certificate, if required by contract or state regulations.
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required records.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support student success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state, federal, and professional practice standards.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) -

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services within a school-based setting. The SLP is responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing treatment recommendations, and providing therapy services in accordance with each student's individualized plan of care, applicable educational requirements, and physician recommendations when appropriate.

This opportunity supports elementary-aged students and may include working with students who have significant medical complexities and intensive support needs.

Position Details
  • Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based)

  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
  • Assignment Length: 36 weeks
  • Start Date: August 24, 2026
  • Service Models Available:
    • In-person services (highly preferred)
    • Hybrid services (combination of in-person and virtual support when appropriate)

  • Current CPR certification, if required.

  • Current health certificate, if required by contract or state regulations.
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
