Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for school settings on a travel assignment in Santa Barbara, CA. You will evaluate students and deliver and document therapy services according to each student’s plan of care and physician orders.

Minimum requirements include active SLP licensure in the assignment state, CCC-SLP preferred, CPR if applicable, and health documentation as required by state/contract.

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure in state of assignment required
• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state/contract
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate per contract/state regulation
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations and provide and document therapy services in accordance with the plan of care and physician orders.
• Document therapy sessions and progress per student plan of care.
• Adhere to relevant professional standards and state/federal requirements

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
