Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in a school setting in Riverside, CA. The SLP will perform student evaluations and provide and document therapy services in accordance with each student's plan of care and the physician's orders.

This position requires active licensure in the state, CCC-SLP is preferred, and compliance with professional standards. Travel benefits and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Active licensure to practice as an SLP in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP is preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR and health documentation per contract/state requirements.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
