Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based services in Lake Stevens, WA. The role involves student evaluations and delivering therapy per the plan of care, with physician orders guiding treatment.

This is a contract-full-time position with 37 hours per week and a pay rate of $62 per hour. The SLP must maintain licensure, comply with professional standards, and meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Must comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations.
• Provide and document therapy services in accordance with the plan of care and physician orders.
• Adhere to school-based therapy protocols and infection control guidelines.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
