Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting in Vallejo, CA.

Primary duties include evaluating students and delivering therapy according to individualized plans, with a 40-hour work week and weekly pay. This contract—full time, on-site—offers competitive compensation and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k).

Competenze

• Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment (CA) required.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred and may be required by contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR and health screenings as applicable by contract/state.

• Perform student evaluations and document therapy services in accordance with the plan of care and physician orders.
• Provide and document therapy in the school setting for each student.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with school, state and federal requirements.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
