Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based assignment in Redford, MI. You will perform student evaluations and provide therapy services according to each plan of care and physician orders.

The ideal candidate holds active SLP licensure in the state; CCC-SLP is preferred and may be required. A current CPR certificate, health screening, and TB or chest x-ray as applicable are expected, with competitive pay at $65 per hour.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
