Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting in Killeen, TX. You will evaluate students and deliver therapy services aligned with each student's plan of care and physician orders.

Active state licensure as an SLP is required; CCC-SLP credential is preferred and may be required by state or contract. We offer competitive pay, weekly paychecks, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with relevant standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
• Provide and document therapy services per plan of care and orders for students in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
