Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate students and provide and document therapy services according to each plan of care.

The role requires active SLP licensure in the assignment state; CCC-SLP is preferred and may be required by contract. Current CPR and health documentation must be maintained; position based in Turtle Creek, PA.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations and provide therapy services in accordance with the plan of care and physician orders.
• Document therapy sessions and progress for each student.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
