Job summary

Amergis, Buckeye, AZ, is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a K-8 school setting for the 2026-2027 year. This full-time, 40-week assignment offers built-in support and the chance to impact students' communication development within the school.

The SLP will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy aligned with IEP goals, with SLPAs available to support the caseload and collaboration with educators.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state or contract.
• Current CPR certification, if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.
• Current health certificate, if required.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Compliance with professional standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and professional standards of practice.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a K-8 school setting in Buckeye, AZ. The selected SLP will work with a diverse student population and collaborate closely with educational staff to deliver high-quality speech and language services. SLPAs will be available to help support the caseload, providing valuable clinical assistance throughout the assignment.

Compensation
