Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in the Richmond, Virginia area for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role focuses on helping students improve communication skills essential for academic achievement and social development.

The SLP will conduct evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure IEP goals are met.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active Virginia SLP license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA preferred.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Support students with a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics

Qualifications
