Sunbelt Staffing seeks a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting near Richmond, VA. In this contract role, you will work under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver direct services and help students communicate more effectively.

You will assist with screenings, progress documentation, IEP implementation, and collaborate with teachers to integrate speech-language strategies into daily activities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid SLPA credential/certification for Virginia.
• Previous experience as an SLPA in a school setting is highly valued.
• Understanding of speech and language development in school-aged children.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language intervention services as directed by supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
