Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a School Speech Language Pathologist to support evaluation, treatment, and progress monitoring for students with communication disorders.

You will work under a licensed SLP to implement evidence-based therapy and document progress within a collaborative school setting. The role emphasizes teamwork with teachers and related service providers, family communication, and ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
• Completion of an approved SLPA training program is preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification may be required.
• Previous experience working with children in educational/therapeutic settings.
• Experience in direct speech and language therapy support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising SLP in delivering direct speech and language therapy to individual students and small groups.
• Implement treatment plans and monitor progress using approved techniques.
• Provide one-on-one support during therapy sessions.
• Maintain records of therapy sessions, progress, and observations with confidentiality.
• Assist in preparing materials and reports for evaluation and ongoing assessment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other service providers to support students’ goals.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about therapy sessions and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
