Job summary

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work with school students in screening, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating disorders of communication. This position will develop and execute specific components of a speech and language program as specified in an Individualized Educational Program (IEP).

This role attends IEP meetings and reports student progress.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or comparable degree.
• California Preliminary or Clear SLP credential or equivalent.
• Proficiency with documentation and reporting for IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in multi-disciplinary assessments and reports.
• Address speech production, language needs, and provide therapy to students.
• Develop and implement IEPs and attend required meetings.
• Document progress and maintain organized student files.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate communication skills into instruction.
• Keep current on developments in speech therapy and teletherapy.
