Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care in Oregon is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a school setting.

You will develop and implement IEPs, provide direct therapy, collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams, monitor progress, ensure regulatory compliance, and support classroom communication strategies through resources and virtual therapy tools.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Role Overview:

A School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders within a school setting. The role involves developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), delivering therapy services in individual and group formats, and collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. The SLP is responsible for monitoring progress, maintaining compliance with regulations, and offering consultation and training to school staff.

Key Responsibilities
