Travel School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for providing speech and language services in a school setting.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings, monitor student progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Provide training and resources to educators and staff to support speech therapy goals within the classroom.
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field, licensure as an SLP in CT, and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Experience in school, early childhood, or pediatric settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
Work closely with students, teachers, and parents, provide comprehensive speech and language services, document progress, and maintain confidential student records in compliance with regulations.
