Job description

Role: A School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides speech and language services to students in a school setting.

Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), deliver direct therapy in individual and group settings, monitor and document student progress, and collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field, state licensure, and preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Experience in school, early childhood, or pediatrics is advantageous.

Skills: Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, therapeutic techniques, excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work collaboratively, and maintain confidential student records.

Key Duties: Providing speech and language evaluations, developing treatment plans, delivering therapy, tracking progress, and supporting educational staff with resources and strategies.
