Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support two high schools and one elementary school in Oregon. This full-time contract runs Sept 8, 2026 through June 17, 2027, with a 40-hour week and a caseload of about 33 students in life skills programs.

You will collaborate with SPED teams, paraprofessionals, and 12 SLPs while delivering diagnostic and therapeutic services, AAC, feeding/swallowing support, and IEP participation in a multidisciplinary setting onsite.

Qualifications

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology credentials; CCC-SLP required.
  • Experience or interest working with school-aged students.
  • Background or willingness to be trained in feeding and swallowing (safe eating) and AAC.
  • Skilled at managing diverse caseloads and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Onsite presence required; no virtual/hybrid options.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for students in high school and elementary life skills programs.
  • Support communication, feeding/swallowing, and social development through individualized and group interventions.
  • Collaborate with educators, family members, and interdisciplinary staff to achieve student-centered goals.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required.

This contract opportunity involves working across two high schools and one elementary school, focusing on a diverse student population and collaborating with a robust team of special education professionals. The role begins September 8, 2026, and concludes June 17, 2027, providing a full-time, 40-hour work week at two welcoming school communities.

Your week will be split between two campuses: one renowned for its strong support of special education students, and the other dedicated to fostering socialization skills. Youll have a caseload of approximately 33 students, primarily within life skills programs, and will benefit from direct collaboration with SPED, paraprofessionals, and additional support staff. While youll work independently onsite, youll also enjoy consistent virtual and monthly in-person collaboration with a team of 12 experienced SLPs.

Skills & Experience Desired:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology credentials; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged students
  • Background (or willingness to be trained) in feeding and swallowing (safe eating) and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC)
  • Skilled at managing diverse caseloads and developing individualized treatment plans
