PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the Killeen, TX area for the 2026-2027 school year. In-person, 37.5 hours/week, 12-hour day shifts, travel position.

You will assist SLPs in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders in a school setting, implementing IEP-based programs and collaborating with teachers to support student communication goals.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-language pathology/Communications Sciences and Disorders required.
• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist - Assistant by the Texas Department of Licensing Regulation (TDLR) required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screening as directed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.
• Implement the treatment program or the individual education plan (IEP) as designed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.
• Work with classroom teachers to implement classroom activities to improve communication skills of students.
• Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for maturity level and interests of students.
